The 2017 KPSF Open
Starting in 2017, the tournament was invited to join the ATP Challenger Tour as a $100,000 event. With an international field of players inside the top 100 rankings, it truly was a world class tournament. With a 32-player singles draw and 16-team doubles draw, the intimate atmosphere made it ideal for fans to get close to their favorite players and to share in a unique tennis experience.

The 2017 reviews could not have been better, with atpworldtour.com calling the event a “smashing success.” KPSF Open alumni players had a fantastic season as well, posting wins over top-10 world ranked players five times, including a victory over world #1 Andy Murray just a few short weeks later at Indian Wells.
